Our Programs
At Million Dollar STEM & Leadership Academy, we offer engaging, hands-on programs designed to ignite curiosity, build confidence, and develop future-ready skills. Our focus areas include STEM education, literacy advancement, leadership development, and emergency preparedness for youth in underserved communities.

STEM + Arts Workshops
Coding, robotics, and science experiments that blend creativity with technology.
Literacy Initiative
Free book drops, STEM storytime events, and reading challenges that promote a love for learning.
Chess Club & Strategy Labs
Students learn to play chess, engage in friendly matches, and build strategic thinking and leadership skills.
Summer Camps
A dynamic mix of STEM and literacy tracks, guest speakers, field projects, competitions, and emotional intelligence sessions
STEM Emergency Preparedness Lessons
Age-appropriate safety lessons paired with branded classroom-ready emergency backpacks.

About Dr. Terran Jordan
Dr. Terran Jordan is an African American leader, educator, and scholar who has dedicated her career to leadership, crisis management, and STEM-driven solutions. She is committed to ensuring minority students gain access to tools that elevate their careers, leadership opportunities, and global impact.
Why This Scholarship Matters
Underrepresentation
Despite advancements in diversity, black professionals remain significantly underrepresented in STEM and emergency management fields.
The Stats
- Black professionals make up only 9% of STEM occupations in the U.S., despite representing a larger percentage of the overall workforce.
- In emergency management and crisis leadership roles, less than 5% of leadership positions are held by Black professionals, limiting diverse perspectives in disaster response and crisis decision-making.
- Representation in executive leadership within STEM-related industries remains below 7% globally, further emphasizing the need for more Black innovators, crisis leaders, and decision-makers.
